Welcome to the website of the Gaelic Society of London.
Established in 1777, the Society exists to advance public education in and to preserve the language, music, poetry and literature of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
More information on the Society's history can be found here
We typically put on several events throughout the year including musical evenings, poetry recitals, talks by people with a close connection to Gaelic culture, and a quiz night.
Our next event will be: Ghost stories for Hallowe'en. More information here

Or maybe you're already a member and are looking to renew your annual membership?
We're in the process of setting up on-line payments but, in the meantime, everything you need to know is here
Maybe you're not ready to become a full member of the Society yet but would like to make a donation.
The Society has no paid employees, so 100% of your donation will go to our core funds.
