There's a lot of Gaelic going on in London, more than you might think!

Gaelic in London Gaelic in London
Draws together all activities and organisations concerned with Gaelic in London today, and provides information about all forthcoming Gaelic events in London. Basically, if it's Gaelic related and London based, you'll find all the details here.

The site was set up by, and is maintained by, Colin West.

Còisir Lunnainn London Gaelic Choir
Founded in 1891, this is the world's oldest Gaelic choir. It meets on Tuesdays at 7pm at the Crown Court Church of Scotland hall in Covent Garden. New members and visitors are always welcome. Knowledge of Gaelic is not necessary as instruction in both Gaelic and music is given at rehearsals.
The choir is currently conducted by Fergus Reoch and Angelique MacDonald.

City Lit City Lit
City Literary Institute in Holborn, London's premier adult education college, offers courses in Gaelic. There are three classes held on Wednesdays in academic term time: beginners, intermediate and advanced. In addition to traditional language learning, the courses focus on Gaelic culture, literature and music.

Gaelic Conversation Circle Conversation Group
An informal Gaelic Conversation group which typically meets on Tuesday evenings at Caffè Nero on Long Acre in Covent Garden from 6-7pm (before the London Gaelic Choir rehearsal).

All welcome.

London Highland Club London Highland Club
A dance club, established by the Society in 1923, with the motto 'friendship of the Gaels'.

The club is based at St. Columba's Church, Pont Street.

Ceilidh Club Ceilidh Club
Since 1998, the Ceilidh Club has been putting on dances which it calls "three hours of the best entertainment you'll find". No ceilidh dancing experience required! They also organise a Burns Night, whisky tasting and are in the process of launching a Scottish Gin Club.
